SEW CLUB is a regular monthly sewing group. Each group runs once a month on a Friday morning from 10am till 1pm.
It’s now only possible to join Sew Club if you’ve done a Basic Course. Those of you who didn’t learn to sew with me please go to SEW CLUB EXTRA BOOKINGS
You can bring whatever you’d like to work on to this sewing group, but please bear in mind I have up to six students, all needing various levels of help. I need to share my time fairly.
You could bring an item of clothing to alter, or you could bring something else you’d like to make. If you’re desperate to get going with dressmaking please attend a SEW PATTERNS class or book a private lesson first as there’s a lot to learn before the sewing can take place! If you bring something that takes up a lot of space, you may have to work in another room.
If you want to keep it simple, you could practise some techniques you’re not sure about or you could choose to make one of my basic projects, designed to help improve your sewing and your confidence. If you like, I can prepare this before the class, cut out and ready to sew. There would be an extra £5 charge for this service and I would need plenty of notice if you want this option.
Due to its popularity you may have to wait a while to get a place in Sew Club. I have several groups but it’s not often someone leaves and a place becomes available.
