I started SEW CLUB EXTRA a while back for those who would like to join Sew Club but aren’t able to for various reasons… mainly because there’s generally no available places! Although my current students are welcome to attend these classes, those who don’t have a regular Sew Club place would have priority in booking.
To attend this sewing class you need to have good knowledge and confidence when using a sewing a machine. You should be able to follow basic instructions and work independently.
SEW CLUB EXTRA is an relaxed sewing class and you can bring whatever you want to work on. You may want to bring an alteration, a garment or project you’re making that you need some help with, or you could practise some techniques you’re not sure about. Please don’t bring a pattern to cut out unless you’ve been to a SEW PATTERNS session before and feel happy you can manage with a little bit of help. There are six in the class so my time is shared and space is limited.
You may also be interested to know that for an extra £5 you could make the monthly group project, which would be cut out and ready to sew. I would need to know in advance if you want this option.
SEW CLUB EXTRA takes place from 10am till 1pm on various days, depending on when I can fit one in. Places can be booked up to one month in advance, on a first come first serve basis and the cost is £30 per session. There’s no commitment with this club so you can just book to come when it suits.
