SEW CLUB EXTRA is a relaxed monthly sewing class.
I started SEW CLUB EXTRA a while back for those who’d like to join Sew Club but aren’t able to for various reasons. It runs about once a month on a Wednesday or Thursday. It mainly happens in the afternoon from 2.30pm till 5.30pm but occasionally I run a morning session from 10 till 1pm
TO KEEP THIS CLASS AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE, YOU CAN ONLY BOOK ONE SEW SESSION AT A TIME.
Just like Sew Club, SEW CLUB EXTRA is a relaxed class, and you can bring whatever you want to sew.
You could bring something you’d like to make, or an item of clothing to alter. If you’re desperate to get going with dressmaking, please attend a SEW PATTERNS class or book a private lesson first as there’s a lot to learn before the sewing can take place! If you bring something that takes up a lot of space, you may have to work in another room.
If you want to keep it simple, you could practise some techniques you’re not sure about or you could choose to make one of my simple projects, designed to help improve your sewing and your confidence. If you like, I can prepare this before the class, cut out and ready to sew. There would be an extra £5 charge for this service and I would need plenty of notice if you want this option.
To attend this class you do need to have good knowledge and confidence when using a sewing a machine. You should be able to work independently and follow basic instruction.
